It was the sixth time this season that the Yellows have dropped points in midweek, when only twice have they dropped points in Saturday fixtures. This was a second away defeat of the season and came despite Jamie McDonald’s first half equaliser. Buxton had led through Liam Hardy as the two went in 1-1 at half time, but substitute Ant Wilson’s strike from a second half corner was enough to earn the home side the three points. | ||||||
